PORTRAITS
The portrait has always been a point of interest in my art. I’m enamored by the stories, emotions, and sense of connection we can convey through a subject — especially a subject who is no longer with us. It’s one of my greatest and most bittersweet accolades as an artist to be able to memorialize lost loved ones, and in so doing, to capture parts of their essence.
If you’d like to learn more about my portraits or art commissions, I’d be happy to chat via email.

ZINES
I’ve always loved visual storytelling, so naturally, a passion for zines, comics, and graphic novels was born. In college, I took several courses taught by reputed cartoonists Captain Action (Jeff Butler, American illustrator and comic book artist) and Professor Ratfink (Lynda Barry, published author and MacArthur Foundation “Genius” Award Winner).
During my comics courses, I completed daily diary drawings, brought characters to life with eyes closed, and learned the basics of storyboarding. These practices taught me to set aside my judgments and let my creative mind take hold. Please enjoy perusing through some of my work on Behance!
