Campaign Series

As a student of communications & design, I often found myself drawn to the art of campaign design. A well-designed campaign is two-fold: It relies on the successful combination of rhetoric, typography, and graphics to communicate a message that can be understood at first glance; It should also influence people to take action in some way.

Currently, some of the most significant actions we can take toward improving our global community involve living more conscientiously, and protecting our planet and shared spaces for generations to come. This is what I had in mind when I created the following mock campaigns.

Deliverables:
Poster Campaign

BE POLITE IN PUBLIC PARKS

This poster set comprises a series I designed for a Public Parks campaign. The focus is on combatting noise pollution in public parks. Each poster identifies a problem, offers a solution, and carries the campaign’s tagline: “Be polite in public parks.”

SAVE THE ANIMALS

This campaign consists of multiple series, each featuring a different endangered animal — such as the tiger, which is on the brink of extinction. The aesthetic was inspired by the countercultural design of the late 1970s and early ’80s, drawing on a combination of punk and pop art.

The animals are hand-drawn to create a personable feeling, and the tagline “They fall, we fall” brings awareness to the severity of the impending loss of biodiversity.
